When you’re a kid, your ‘world’ is very small. It is confined to your home, your yard, your mom, your dad, your siblings and that’s it. While the world itself is enormous, you, like the ‘Whos’ are ignorant of this fact and unable to see the world outside of your own ‘world’.
As you grow older, your ‘world’ begins expanding to include your neighborhood, your school, your friends, and so on. Further you begin learning about the world as a whole (history class, geography, etc.) causing the realization that there are other ‘worlds’ outside of your ‘world’.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.
—John Updike
At the end of the day, I’m a poet unapologetic.
